Mothers (baca: emak-emak)
My mom was requested to look after my nephew while my sister went away.
That friday morning, I said to mom "Selamat bertugas ma!" not realizing that I was actually telling myself the same encouragement.
*it's been some months since my mom fed up of having a maid
What can I say?
Apparently I'm no expert at housekeeping, except sweeping.
*Cos it was my hobby when I was little.. Wkwkwk.. Practices in the past makes perfect.
From what is written in Proverbs 31 about noble characters of women, the nearest one I could fulfill only the verse 14.
She is like the merchant ships, bringing her food from afar.
*if literally BRING food ~not COOK~ is counted..
*in my case, from afar means from other city.. pia, pempek, keripik, chocolate.. then sambel bu rudy, brownies, maicih, mochi.
Shame on me..
Yes I know.
Hix.
Well, I did learn some things in the absence of mom that was concurred with the renovation of our workplace.
*Really, it drained my energy. I felt like a construction worker, full of dust and sweat every single day.
1. Just send your laundry to laundry service if you're overloaded.
And I chose to feel overloaded hahaha..
They were spreading everywhere lately.
And the one I use charged me only Rp 7000/kg, including the pick up and delivery service!
I feel like.. smiling BIG :D :D :D
2. Use the mop squeezer.
How can I thank the inventor of mop squeezer???
As long as I mopped, I kept telling myself 'wow this is great! this is great! the coolest n useful invention!'
You help million of peoples man.
Hormaaattttt grakkkkkk!
3. Buy your dishes if it's only for 2.
Gak remponggggg!
Disclaimer for no 1 - 3: I'm not telling you to do the same, but for me, these were really helpful and efficient with all my hustle bustle.
4. Eventually women will have to deal with it and get used to it:
Sweep, mop, wash, wipe, cleanse, brush, iron, cut, cook, bake, drive, carry, fix, climb, put in order, etc.
And another privileges for mother with baby/ kid or babies/ kids:
Err.. Much to describe.
Experience it yourselves by spending your day with a mother.
I did.
Hehehe..
Then it is true, the saying:
It's hard to be a woman. You must think like a man, act like a lady, look like a young girl, and work like a horse.
Salute to all mothers!
*higher than to the mop squeezer inventor
:p
