it's mommy's 34th week with you inside the belly
about 1 month to see you
mom and dad are so excited! :)
your daddy gave an idea to mom
to write a letter for you (just like what mommy did before met your daddy).
and here are some points mom wants you to know...
31st January 2017 was the date when mom did the pregnancy test, and it's positive.
a day before, mom actually has asked God whether mom was pregnant or not (cos i didn't feel well for few days), and the gentle voice inside my heart said "yes you are. it's a girl". mom told your dad bout this.
we kept it in our heart till we knew that really you are a girl! we're so glad bout this (knowing that God told His little secret to mommy, a sign that you were loved, fearfully and wonderfully made)
you were named after our prayer for you.
Charis: favored in the sight of God and man (like in Proverbs 3:4)
Elena: light
Budiman: ask your dad the meaning wkwkwk...
we read you proverbs and psalm almost every night.
mostly dad did it while mommy caressed the belly, and you fave part was when daddy read psalm for you, you almost always kicked my belly when we got to this part)
in the 33rd week, we began to know some food you do like (of course because you're kicking again at mom's first bite.. hahaha) bakpao, pempek, sauted vegetable, pizza, steak, ikan tamarind in penang bistro, n the list is still getting longer....
well, another thing mommy has to say is thank you.
thank you for cheering me up when mommy was sad
that time, mommy's just losing mom's beloved grandma
and cried quite a lot in the night
then mommy felt your first kick
somehow it made mommy laughed in tears.
a little happiness on mommy's sad day.
then there was another time
when mommy felt so discouraged
didn't know what to do
felt confused and hopeless
*there were some predicted future problems that mom and dad would have to face, but didn't know yet how to solve
mommy just could sigh and pray in silence while driving to akong's house in the morning
brought 1 of your cute shirts to get a little fix from amah
and when i showed the shirt to amah,
mommy's smiling (in heart also)
cos it's so cuteee, imagining you will wear it :))
then mom became suddenly happy.
thanks for bringing the joy....
